According to the latest reports 183 people have been killed, injured 887, 1,276,225 peoples displaced, 53,690 houses destroyed & 4,780 Cattle perished in flash floods which are triggered by heavy monsoon rains in Pakistan. According to the authorities the situation may worsen. Parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jamu & Kashmir have been severely affected by torrential rains and flash floods. In addition to claiming lives, the flash floods have destroyed properties and severely disrupted the communication, water and electricity supplies in affected areas.
